Good news Infinix fans… Infinix Mobility wins BoICT 2016 best mobile brand of the year in Nigeria, beating the likes of Samsung, Hauwei, Lumia and others who were also in that category.

This may not be a big surprise to many though, as Infinix has clearly taken over the street in Nigeria. #Streetitakover

The award was awarded to Infinix mobility Nigeria at the Beacon of ICT award organized by Nigerian communications week/communications week media limited.

BoICT is a yearly event that recognizes top players in Nigeria’s retail & ICT industry with emphasis on brands paving way with their products and services.

Infinix Mobility is one of the brands shaping the mobile industry with cutting edge technology, having successful launched numerous smartphones in the market the brand has been chosen as the people’s choice for the best mobile brand of the year.

“This is a historic moment for us with all the efforts we have put into growing our brand in Nigeria. I can assure Nigerians that Infinix is here to stay with the aim to provide the best smartphone experience” said Regional Manager, Bruno Li.

Speaking on the award for best mobile phone brand of the year, Mr Chike Onwuegbuchi, deputy editor-in-chief, Nigeria communications week while presenting the award to Infinix, said Infinix is at the forefront of the market with their smartphone ranges and we are happy to recognize the effort they have put into promoting the mobile phone industry in Nigeria.

Also, Olamide Amosu, Marketing Communications Manager, Infinix Mobility Nigeria, who received the award on behalf of Infinix thanked the fans and customers of Infinix who have continued to believe in the brand and its innovative spirit.

She added that Infinix is set to launch more smartphones alongside introducing its wearable technology category with X-band smartwatch this year.

The award is Infinix Mobility’s first  big award, and to celebrate the award, Infinix has dedicated the award to all their users and fans.
