Infinix Hot S (X521) is the latest smartphone from the best mobile brand in Nigeria.
The smartphone is the first Infinix phone in the S series and also the first infinix phone to feature fingerprint scanner and all metal body.
Infinix Hot S looks premium with curves on the edges, metal frame, and is available in Rose gold, gold, black, silver, and blue.
Infinix Hot S features a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with HD display.
On the back of the device, you have a 13 megapixels camera with dual LED flash and on the front is an 8 megapixels wide-angle camera with a soft LED flash.
Infinix Hot S is powered by a 64-bit Kirin 650 SoC. The processor offers 8-cores and it clocks at up to 1.5GHz. The smartphone is available in two versions; one offering 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM and the other with 32GB storage and 3GB of RAM.

The screen size of Hot S is 5.2 inches and I haven’t seen any complainsof overheating.

Yes it support external memory card but it is the same place you put SIM card. You will have to use only one SIM if you want to use external SD card.
That is bad.people are buying Infinix Hot S bcos is a dual sim phone. Now you have to opt one sim for external SD card..

It simply means there is no notification light. You know the type of notification light you see at the top of the phone when there is missed call, new messages or things like that.

My hot S microphone seems to be down . You have to talk loud when recording voice or doing call before your recipient can hear you. Why?. Is it a system fault?
Hello Geoffrey, make sure nothing is blocking the microphone of your phone. This is normally located at the bottom side of the device. Also try recording with the mic of a headphone. If the problem persist, then it is likely a software problem.

That the battery is non-removable doesn’t mean it can’t be replaced.
If you want to replace the battery of your device, take it to any repair center near you (preferably Carlcare).

If you mean Hot S, Hot S is suitable for gaming. The only problem you may face is the 5.2 inches screen. Though that depends on user’s preference.

Have you tried different USB ports? Also restart you phone and PC to see if that will solve the problem.

Force the device to shut down by holding the power button for about 10 seconds. If the problem persist, take it to any Carlcare outlet near you.

The hot s is higher than the the hot 4 in terms of specs but the hot 4 has a bigger battery capacity (4000mph) than that of the hot s (3000mph). If you don’t really mind about the battery life then you can go in for the hot s but if you are mindful about it, then i will recommend the hot 4 to u. The decision is yours.

i bought the infinix hot s for N60,000 at Emeka offor plaza Onitsha Anambara state last January 2017.
The phone is quite okay in all but the battery is not so impressive for 3000mah. Also, the 2GB ram can be a thing of shit on heavy usage. What i can’t resolve now is to USB connect it to my laptop to share files because it does not agree to that only for charging and transfer photos. please help!

The size of hot S,its functionality and picture quality is very impressive but the battery life is a lil bit unhealthy especially wen u play games,browse or keep the fone active for over one hour.over heating is one of the things but the big issue is whether or not the radiations wont expose us to cancer at a higher rate.i think the radiations coupled with sone other software detections causes the over heating.educate us on the risk associated with the over heating
I fell in love with my hot s X551 when I opened it last week I even nickname it my beautiful beast but as I tried to slot my two sim and an external SD card, I discovered that if I must use SD card then I can’t use dual sim card and if I must use dual sim I can’t use my external SD card I hated it since then I bought it 56k I am will to sell it for 50k. this is an infinix mistake I guess I hope they don’t make more mistakes like Nokia did with asha and Lumia if not infinix will crash just like Lumia.
